[Before R. Pollock and A. J, Richmond Esqs., J.J.P.] * ' Alexander Thomson was charged by Constable Beattie with being drunk and incapable. After being arrested, defendant had been bailed out on paying £1. A constable stated that he had seen him this morning when he was not in a fit state to appear in Court. The amount of bail was ordered to be forfeited. John Woodhouse and John Cockram were fined 5s each and costs for allowing horses to stray in the streets. Fell and Atkinson v. Donaldson.— Action i to recover £4 5s 2d, amount of costs due Judgmeut for amount claimed and costs 13s Sharp and Pickering v. Dale —Action to recover £5 for advertising prospectus of latea Steam Navigation Company. Mr Bunny for Mr Pitt appeared for the plaintiffs. Defendant did not appear. Judgment for amount claimed and costs £1 7s. W. C. Harley v. W. Kearns.— Action to recover £3 3s 6d for beer supplied. Mr Bunny appeared for the plaintiff. Judgment for amount claimed and costs £1 9s. The same v. C. P. Kearns.- Action to recover £1 17s 6d for beer supplied. Mr Bunny appeared for the plaintiff. Judgment for atnouut claimed and costs £ i Us. Several other cases were set down for bearing, but were settled out of Court.
