The Nelson Evening Mail. WEDNESDAY, MARCH 12, 1879.

The prize firing will terminate early tomorrow morning, aud the Volunteers will leave the camp by special train at IV3O a.m. At 215 p.m. they will parade at the Drill Shed, together with the Nelson Volunteers, under command of Major Lean. They will then march to the Botanical Reserve, where the whole will be drawn up in line with the competitors in the centre, and will receive Colonel Packe, the Commanding Officer, with a general salute. After the "march past" they will advance in review order, and Major Baillie, in the absence of Major Richmond, C.8., who is prevented by ill-health from attending, will request Mrs Suter to present the prizes. This will be done from a raised dais to be erected on the ground. In the evening there will be the citizens' ball, which is likely to be very largely attended, " •
