IMPERIAL SCHIEDA-UCHNAPPS, Db. Hassall's Report. The Analytical and Sanitary Institution, 54, Holborn Viaduct, EC. London, 9th May, 1877. Report on a Sample of Imperial Schiedam Schnapps received from Mr H. J. Hart. We have subjected a Bample of the abovenamed article to a very careful chemical analysis and examination. The results of tbe analysis, which are se forth in a separate report show tbat this spirit is of good strength, practically free from acidity, and that it contains hut traces of solid matter in solution, it possesses a delicate and agreeable aroma, and a pure and mild taste. Bir,— l have the honor ,to report for your .information that the sample of Imperial Schiedam Schnapps forwarded by you to me has been submitted to a searching chemical analysis and critical examination, tbe result of which enables me to state tbat it is the Finest Sample of Schnapps that as yet come under my notice. It has a pure fragrant odour, and Ib absolutely free from any trace of fiml or other injurioui* impurity, and has evidently been distilled from superior rye grain, olways used instead of malt in tbe productiou of the choicest qualities of Schnapps. It is very smooth to tbe palate, and in thi» leepect compar< s favourably with other samples offered lor sale.
