Report on £ Baropls of Imperial Schiedam Schnapps received from Mr 11. J. Hart. We have subjected a samp!.? of the abovenamed article to a very careful chemicai analysis and examination. The results of the Bnalyeis, which are se forth in a separate report show that this spirit is of good strength, practically free from acidity, and that it contains but trccea of aoiid matter in solution. It possesses a delicate and ngreeable aroma, and a pure and mild taste. Mr Hart's Schiedam Schnapps is a very superior article of its clbbb, is well purified, and is quite grtnuine. It has a pure fragrant odour, and Is absolutely free from any trace of fun! or other injuriom impurity, and has evidently been distilled from superior rye gr»in, olwaya used instead of malt in the productioa of the choicest qualities of Schnapps. It is very smooth to the palate, and in tint respect coinpan s favourably with other samples offered for sale. It may ba advised as equallyg suitable for medical or economic purposes.
