The Lyttelton arrived from Blenheim at noon to-day. She returns to the same port to-morrow afternoon at three o'clock. The Charles Edward left Greymouth at one o'clock to-day, will leave Westport tomorrow, and arrive here on Friday morning, leaving again same day for Wanganui. The Wallace leaves for Motueka at eight o'clock to-morrow morning, returning by tbe same tide, and proceeding to Wellington direct on Friday afternoon. The Lady Barkly sailed on her usual weekly trip to Golden Bay last evening. The Arawata, with the Suez mail, leaves Melbourne for New Zealand ports to-day. The Wellington arrived at Wellington early this morning. She leaves there on the return trip on Friday. The Murray left Wanganui for Opunake this afternoon. She has been detained by a westerly gale. Tbe Kennedy arrived at Hokitika from Westport to-day. The Claud Hamilton arrived off Hokitika to-day. She will probably arrive here tomorrow night, and sail for Wellington on Friday. She has 30 tons of cargo for Nelson. The Taiaroa left Onehunga this morning, will arrive here to-morrow evening, aud sail at 10 a.m. on Friday for Picton and'Wellington. The Awaroa arrived alongside the Wanganui Wharf at 11 a.m. yesterday, after a smart passage of 17 hours from Nelson. The brigantine Sheet Anchor is now eleven days oat from Batsman's Bay, and, therefore, should show up in the course of a day or two.
