IMPERIAL 3CEISDAM SSENAPPS, Db. Hassauc's Report. The Analytical and Sanitary Institution, 54, Holborn Viaduct, E C. London, 9th May, 1877. Report on a Sample of Imperial Schiedam Schnapps received from Mr H. J. Habt. We have subjected a sample of the abovenamed article to a very careful chemical analysis and examination. The results of the analysis, wbich are se forth in a separate report sbow tbat this spirit is of good strength, practically free from acidity, and that it contains but traces of solid matter in solution. It possesses a delicate aod agreeable aroma, and a pure and mild taste. Mr Habt's Schiedam Schnapps is a very superior article of its class; ia well purified, and is quite genuine. (Signed) akthur H. Sir,— l have the honor to report for your information that the sample of Imperial Schiedam Schnapps forwarded by yon to me has been submitted to a searching chemical analysis and critical examination, the result of which enables me to state that it is the Finest Sample of Schnapps that aa yet come under my notice. It has a pure fragrant odour, and ls absolutely free from any trace of fufil or other injurious impurity, and has evidently been distilled from superior rye gr»in, olways used Instead of malt in tbe production of the choicest qualities of Schnapps It is very smooth to tbe palate, and in this respect cornpar s favourably with other samples offered for sale.
