Sin—Having tendered ancib^en sttcccssful in getting the contract for erecting the Oifls School in Toi Toi Valley, I think it very unfair of the Education Board giving all the extras to the Architect—and of course at his own price—in preference to mo, the contractor for the work, who was some £75 under his (the Architect's) tender. Now, sir, as the building was finished to the satisfaction of all concerned, would it not have been fair that I should have had a chance against the Architect for the work he is now doing at the same building j and I would like to ask if the Board inteud giving all extras in other buildings the Board may have to erect iu future in the same way.—l am, &c, Andrew Brow n.
