At the banquet in connection with the Warwick Agricultural Show, Governor Kennedy spoke strongly in favor of agricultural education and also condemned protection, saying that he considered it the means of robbing the many for the benefit of the few. Ministers in their recent speeches have promised to Jay off available land for sale at fair prices. Sydxey, Saturday. Governor Robinson and Sir Henry Farkes, the Premier, have received a telegram from' Sir M. Hicks-Beach announcing the appointment of Lord Loftus to the Governorship of New South Wales.
