IMPERIAL ! SGHISDAM SCHNAPPS. Dr. HAesALL's Report. The Analytical and Sanitary Institution, 54, Holboru Viaduct, EC. London, 9th May, 1877. Beport on a Sample of Imperial Schiedam Bohnapps received from Mr H. J. Hart. We have subjected a sample of tbe abovenamed article to a very careful chemical analysis and examination. The results of tbe analysis, which are ee forth in a separate report show that this spirit is of good strength, practically free from acidity, and that it contains hut traces of solid matter io solution. ]t possesses a delicate and agreeable aroma, and a pure and mild taste. Mr Habt's BcWedam Schnapps is a very sopenor article of its class, is well purified, and is quite genuine. (Signed) Arthur H. Hassali,, M.D., Author of " Food and its Adulteration." Bir,— l have the honor ;to report for your information that the sample of Imperial Schiedam Schnapps forwarded by you to me has been submitted to a searching chemical analysis and critical examination, the result of which enables me to state that it is the Finest Sample of Schnapps that as yet come tinder my notice. It has a pure fragrant odour, and Is absolutely free from any trace of fuf-ii or other injurious impurity, and has evidently been distilled from superior rye grain, olways used instead of malt in the production of the choicest qualities of Schnapps. It ie very smooth to the palate, and in thi» respect compart s favourably with other samples offered for sale. It may be advised as equaliyj suitable for medical or economic purposes.
