SCeiBDAM^gHNAPPS. Dr. Hassall's Report. The Analytical and Sanitary Institution, 54, Holborn Viaduct, E C. London, 9th May, 1877. Report on a Samplo of Jrrperial Schiedam Schnapps received from Mr U. J. Hart. We have subjected a samplf of the abovenamed article to a very careful chemical analysis and examination. The results of the analysis, which are se forth in a separate report show that this spirit is of gcod Btrength, practically free from acidity, and thr.t it contnins but traces of solid matter ia oolution. It possesses a delicate and agreeable aroma, and u pure and mild taste. Mr Ha3t's Schiedam bebnapps is a very superior article of its class, is we!! purified, and is quite genuine. Bir, — I have the honor |to report for your information that tbe sample of Imperial Schiedam Schnapps forwarded by you to me has been submitted to a searching chemical analysis and critical examination, the remit of which enables me to state chat it is the Finest Sample of Schnapps that as yet come under my notice. It has a pure fragrant odour, and Is absolutely free from any trace of ftml or other injurious imparity, and has evidently been distilled from superior rye gmin, olways used instead of malt in the production of the choicest qualities of Schnapps. It is very smooth to thp palate, and in tliir* respect cotnpari s favourably with other samples offered for Bale. It may be advised as equal)y| suitable for medical cr economic purposes.
