Report on a Sample of Imperial Schiedam Schnapps received from Mr H. J. Bart. We have subjected a simpl? of the abovenamed article to a very carefol chemical analysis and examination. The results of the analysis, which are se forth in a separate report show tbat this spirit is of good strength, practically free from acidity, and that it contains but traces of solid matter in solution. It possesses a delicate and agreeable aroma, and a pure and mild taste. Mr Habt's Schiedam Schnapps is a very superior article of its class, is well purified, and ia quite ffenuine. It has a pure fragrant odour, and Is absolutely free from any trace of fueil or otber injuriou* imparity, and bas evidently been distilled from superior rye gr«in, olways used instead of malt in tbe production of the choicest quaiitu sof Schnapps. It is very smooth to tfae palate, and in this respect compar. s favourably with other samples offered ior sale. It may be advised as eqcallyf suitable for medical or economic purposes.
