Report on a Ssmpla of Imperial Schiedam Schnapps received from Mr H. J. 13 art. We have ear jected a s^mpl? of the abovenamed article to a very careful chemical analysis and exeminat'on. The results cf the analysis, which are ee lorth In a separate report show that this spirit is of good strength, practically free from acidity, tnd that it contnins but traces of eolid matter in solution. It possesses a delicate and ugreeablfi aroma, and a pure and miJd taste. Mr llabt's Sckiedam Schnapps ia a very superior article cf ita class, is well purified, and is quite atnuin,}. Sir,— l havG the honor [to report for your information that the sample of Imperial Schiedam Schnapps forwarded by you to me has been submitted to a searching chemical analysis and critical examination, the result of which enables me to state that it ia the Finest Sample of Schnapps that as yet come under my notice. It has a pure fragrant odour, end Is absolutely free from any trace of fusil or other injurious impurity, and has evidently been distilled from superior rye gtvin, oiways used instead of malt in the production of the choicest qualities of Schnapps. It is very smooth to the palate, and in timiespectcoospar< s favourably with other samples offered for sale. It may be advised as equallyj suitable for medic&l or economic purposes.
