The Awaroa arrived from Wanganui this afternoon. The Arawata leaves the Bluff for Melbourne to-day. The Richard and Mary sailed for Lyttelton this morning with a load of timber. The Kennedy will arrive at Greymouth from Hokitika on this afternoon's tide. The Wallace leaves for Wanganui direct to-morrow at nine o'clock in the morning. The Murray sailed for West Caast ports at four o'clock this morning. The Lyttelton arrived at "■ Wellington" this morning wifcn~a load of wool for the Hertnione. She returns to Blenheim to-night. The Wellington sailed for Taranaki and Manukau yesterday afternoon, and arrived at the former port at 8 a.m. to-day. The Charles Edward left Westporfc this morning, will arrive here early to-morrow morning, and proceed to Wellington at 5 p.m. on Monday. The Taiaroa arrived in harbor at an early hour this morning from Taranaki and Manukau, and sailed for Picton, Wellington, and Lyttelton shortly afterwards, and arrived at the former port at 12.30. p.m. From Lyttelton we hear that the New Zealand Shipping Company have received a telegram from their London agency, stating that they had chartered the large, full powered steamer Stad Haarlem, 2700 tons register, for the conveyance of 600 immigrants to the colony. The steamer is appointed to make the round voyage out and Home again, and will sail on January 28. She t may therefore be expected in Xew Zealand about March 20. It is the company's intention to load her back to London and as she has splendid accommodation for first aud second cabin passengers, a most favourable opportunity will be presented to parties desirous of a summer visit to Europe.
