It 19 refreshing to Qud Ladies and Gentleman who; id gratitude for the relief brought them, either go to the trouble and expense of publishing the fact, or writing to thtir friends, tellißg them about the SCOTTISH HIGHLAND OIL, or. in the sprit of true gratitude; visit the afflicted, and allow them bow their agonies may be appeased and their sufferings' alleviated. Already a leng list of names have been cnrolkd, and it is my desire that all who have been cured should tend me their address, not for publication, but as a satisfaction to my own micd, and as a jiut tribute to the Oils. I think there cannot ba any fear of beirg accused of exaggeration after leading ilia testimonial? published, ard those cow appearing, to sey that in the experience of human knowledge there never has been an agent offered to the public which has so easily , painlessly, and pleasantly cured so many people regarded by our uoble Faculty of medicine as incurable ; and it cannot now be s!«id that professional men have been distanced by ordinary mortals. I glory in tbe fact that I belong, by birth and education to the professional class. I regret, however, that tho commercial conditions of things renders it necessary that I should adopt a system of action at variance witli professional etiquette for tbe sale of my goods?. It i», however, a great satisfaction to me that 'the grandest cures which could be accomplished anywhere have been done in the vfry city and country where the discovery was made, and I trust that as people get accustomed to the use of the Scottish Oil, we shall Eec hundreds snd thousands of suffering humanity rejoice again in the vigi r and strength ot regenerate 1 constitutions. Here follows the moat extraordinary Hat of cures ever presented to the inhabitants of these colonies: — FiFrßßir Yfaes a Martyr to Headachb. Juty 11, 1877. Dear Sir,— lt is impossible for auy one to express bis heartfelt gratitude for the relief I now cr joy from a terrible affliction, under which 1 existed; for years I can hardly now think of it but with horror. Ie mast be a great satisfaction for you to know that you? Oils can co quickly and painlessly cure. I shall certamly feel bound to tell the good new* to all my friends. James Goodwin. j£6o Spbht, bdt got No Bblief. TagTiMoxrAL. — Another testimonial respecting Potties Highland Oil has been received by the Aeent, Mr C. L. Tweedie. It is as follows: — Sir, for many years I have suffered from rheumatism in the back; and some time ago it cost me over £60 to go to Sydney and have medical advice, without, however, receiving any relief. I determined to try a bott'e of Highland Oil, for which you »>re agent, and have much pleasare in stating that after a few applications I was entirely relieved from all pain, and can ea/ely recommend it to others suffering from a similar complaint to mine— John Mddie, Bombal*. I make this statement feeling convinced that the Oils fS.EL) will cure any one suffering in a like manner. Dear Fir,— l wss Ik id up for many long months in bed. and liad tried all the docton could do for me, but got only worse. At last a man called with a little of Scottish Oil. I was then in bed, suffering terrible agony, with my legs bent under me. I saw no hope for life; but tbe flrss bottle of your Oil brought- relief, «nd I could crawl about. I stuck to the fomentation, Oil?, and hot iron, and in two months got tbe use of my limbs. I can never expect to be perfectly well, for I am an old man, but I owe all to the Scottish Highland Oil. — Arch Rl* Elbows t. Newtown. Twenty-three jears bad with a tumour on my neck, and tried no end of prescriptions, until X aaw that an operation was my only chance. Fortunately I heard about tha Scottish Oil, and by rubbing regularly, the tumour melted away without any kind of pain.— H. Chase, Newtown. Fhom Sydney Freeman's Journal. MIRACULOUS.— A moat miraculous cure has come under my notice in Araluen. A miner in this locality named Ouggan had been complaining for years of a swelling on his breast, which defied the tuelical skill of the district. Dr Llewelyn, residing in Braidwood, after vainly experimenting with divers panaceas, &c, advised the patient to go to the Sydney Infirmary After some time he did as he was counselled, but what was the result ? Why, after remaining io the hospital for about nine months um'er the treatment of the leading medicos, he was prcnouncad incurable. He returned to Aralueu wor^e in fact than when he went to Sydney, owing, I suppose to the vast quantities of medicine he had taken, coupled with the fatigue of such a long overland journey. Some months ago Mr Curry (Dr Llewellyn's servant) suggested to Mr Duprgan to rub the swelling with " Potties Highland Oil.' He did as was suggested, and wonderful was the result. I THq sw«Hiog^came to a head in a short time, and burst, discharging a quantity of miftfcer. In one -theee discharges a boaecame out, it being 4he sole cause of the a welling, as can tie test fifed T)y the man, whose health has been perfectly restored. He is now able to work at usual in the claim. Now, the nui tor your Sydney -M.D.'a is, how came the bone there? My principal re»«onfor writing this, is to inform those gentlemen who attended Mr Duggan at the Infirmary of the mysterious result— Araluen Correspondent. Manufactured by J. POTTIE, 263, Eliza-beth-street, Sydney. SOLE AGENT FOR NELSON— LOUIS ROTHEB, '(Late C. Habling) TRAFALGAR-STREET. 1396
