Report on a Sample of Irrperial Sehicdr.m Schnapps received frcm Mr H. J. Hart. We have subjected a Bumplc of the abovenamed article to a very careful chemical analysis and examination. The resultc of the analysis, ■which are se forth in a separate report sho~ that this spirit is of good Btrength, practically free from acidity, and tint it contuins but traces of solid matter in eolutinn. It possesses a delicate and ngreeabln aroma, and a rure anrl mild taste. Mr Hart's Schiclam Schnapps is a very snpenor article ox its class, is well purified, and is quite genuine. (Signed) H. Bir, — I have the honor to report for yonr information that the sample of Imperial Schiedam Schnapps forwarded by you to mt has been submitted to a searching chemical analysis and critical examination, the resul'. of which enables me to state that it is the FiDest Sample of Schnapps that as yet come under my notice. It has a pure fragrant odour, and Is absolutely free from any trace of fui-il or other injurious impurity, and has evidently been distilled from superior rye grain, olways used instead of malt in the production of the choicest qualities of Schnapps It is very smooth to the palate, and in thi» respect compar. s favourably with other samples offered lor sale.
