Sydney, Tuesday The miners and the other employes at" the Biilli Colliery have been dismissed, and all work is at a standstill. Melbourne, Tuesday. The Melbourne Eleven beat the Canterbury criclreiera by 169. A deputation from the Harbor Trust waited upon the Minister for Lands with a proposal to supply half a million tons of salt for the reclamation of the swamps arouDd the city at a cost of two shillings per ton. The Minister consults his colleagues.
