The Lady Bnrkly sailed for Golden Bay this afternoon. The Pelorus sailed for Havelock this morning with a number of passengers, principally for Diirville's Island. The cutter Dart arrived from Para Para this morning with a load of hematite ore for Mr Louisson. The Claud Hamilton will arrive here tomorrow, and sail for Wellington at 5 p.ra same day. The schooner Arthur Wakefield arrived from Lyttelton yesterday afternoon, after a long passage, which was caused by bad weather. She brings a cargo of breadstuffs, immediately after discharging which she will load for Wanganui. Captain Frazer, of the Fern Glen, having received orders from Wellington yesterday afternoon to proceed to that port as speedily as possible without landing any immigrants here, the anchor was hove up on board that vessel at 3 o'clock this morning, and she set sail. Favored by a light land breeze she soon secured a good offing, and in the afternoon was not visible. The Wellington arrived in harbor this morning at 4 o'clock. She left Wellington , shortly after noon yesterday, and reached Pictonate p.m.; sailed half an hour later, and arrived here as above. Fine weather was experienced throughout. The Wellington sailed for Taranaki and Manukau this afternoon. The Taiaroa arrived in harbor early this morning. She left Onehunga at 10.30 p.m. on Wednesday, and arrived off New Plymouth at 6 a.m. yesterday; landed passengers and cargo, and proceeded on to Nelson at 9.30 am., arriving here at 2 a.m. to-day. Fine weather marked the run down. The Taiaroa sailed for Picton and Wellington this afternoon. The Murray arrived in harbor early this morning from West Coast ports. She left Nelson on Thursday, 19th December, carrying the West Coast portion of the San Francisco mail, but did not reach Weatport until Saturday the 21st, in consequence of heavy weather having bad to take shelter under the Spit and Koranui Point; left same night for Greymouth, arriving there early on Sunday morning; was detained there until Thursday, the 27tb, (the river being flooded, and a heavy sea running on the bar) when she left for Hokiiika, arriving there same day; was again detained until Tuesday, the 31st, when she left for Greymouth, arriving there the same afcernoon; coaled and left on Wednesday the Ist, at 1.30 p.m., for Westport, crossing ihe bar there at 3.30 a.m. yesterday; left again at 5.30 a.m., arriving' here as above. Experienced S.W wind'to Cape Farewell, from thence to' arrival variable winds. She reports the weather on the Coast since leaving here as something frightful, only having had one dry day. The Murray brings the West Corst portion of the outgoing San Francisco mail.
