Report on a Sample of Imperial ,Scbiedam > Schnapps received from Mr H. J. Hart. We have subjected a sampl* of the abovenamed article to a very careful chemical analysis and examination. F The results of the analysis, which are se t forth in a separate report show that this r. spirit is of good strength, practically free from acidity, find that it contains but traces > of solid matter in solution. It possesses a delicate aad agreeable aroma, and a pure and mild taste. Mr Hart's Schiedam Schnapps - is a very snpenor article of its claaa, is well purified, and is quite genuine. It has a pure fragrant odour, and Is absolutely free from any trace of fneii or other injurious impurity, and has evidently been distilled from superior rye grain, olways used inttead of malt in the production of the choicest qualities of Schnapps. It is very smooth to the palate, and in tht» respect compart g favourably with other samples offered for sale. It may be advised as equa!ly| suit- , able for medical or economic purposes.
