The Lady Barkly leaves for Golden Bay at 2 p.m. to-m£ttojv. — . . A brigantirie, bbund through- the Straits, passed across TJinid Bay this morning, - The fclaud Hamilton arrived "Off Hqkitika last evening, and is to. leave that port for GreytnGuth and,-Nelson to-night. The Taiaroa lest Tarabaki this morning at 9.30, wittjarrife here this evening, and sail at 1 p.m. tomorrow for Picton and Wellington. The Wellington leaves Wellington this afternoon, will arrive here to morrow morning, and sail at 3 p.m. for Taranaki and Manukan. The Pelorus leaves for Havelock at 7 a.m. to-morrow. She calls at Durville's Island to land some passengers. The Tasso was towed to sea by the Lady Barkly~yesterday afternoon, and at once made sail for Newcastle. She had a fine breeze last evening, which carried her out ' of the bay. The Kerbroyd having filled the hulk Hera with coal, is now alongside the Albion wharf, where she will discharge the remainder of her cargo She will probably get to sea at the latter end of this week. We (Posf) regret to learn that the severe N.W. gale of Saturday night has proved all but fatal to the sanguine hopes entertained of floating off the ships (Hydrabad and City of Auckland. The former vessel was all but afloat when 'this unfortunate tempest came on, and she was literally blown on shore, being driven into a much worse position than that from which she had been, at so much trouble and expense, almost released. Grave doutjts now are entertained as to the possk bility of getting her off at all, but the steamer Glenelg is standing off aud on awaiting a favorable opportunity of making another attempt." The City of Auckland broke her 4 mooring chain, and drove heavily on the beach broadside on, thus making her chance of igettiog off almost hopeless.
