Report on a Sample of Imperial Schiedam Schnapps received from Mr H. J. Bart. We have subjected a sumplp of the abovenamed article to a very careful chemical analysis and examination. The results of tbe analysis, which arc se forth in a separate report show tbafc this spirit ifl of good strength, practically free from acidity, and that it conuins but traces of solid matter in solution. Jt possesses a delicate and cgreeabls aroma, and a pure and mild taste. Mr Hart's Schiedam Schnapps is a very superior article of its class, is wel! purified, and is quite genuine. Sir,— l have the honor |to report for your information that the sample ot Imperial Schieiam Schnapps forwarded by you to me has been submitted to a searching chemical analysis and critical examination, the result of which enables me to state that it is tbe Finest Sample of Schnapps that as yet come under my notice. It has a pure fragrant odour, nnd is absolutely free from any trace of fut-il or other injurious impurity, and bas evidently been distilled from superior rye grnin, olways used instead of malt in the production of the choicest qualities of Schnapps. It is very smooth to the palate, and in thisießpectcompan s favourably with other samples offered for sale.
