Report on a Sample of Imperial Schiedam Schnapps received from Mr H. J. Bart. We have subjected a sumplp of the abovenamed article to a very careful chemical analysis and examination. The results of tbe analysis, which arc se forth in a separate report show tbafc this spirit ifl of good strength, practically free from acidity, and that it conuins but traces of solid matter in solution. Jt possesses a delicate and cgreeabls aroma, and a pure and mild taste. Mr Hart's Schiedam Schnapps is a very superior article of its class, is wel! purified, and is quite genuine. It has a pure fragrant odour, nnd is absolutely free from any trace of fut-il or other injurious impurity, and bas evidently been distilled from superior rye grnin, olways used instead of malt in the production of the choicest qualities of Schnapps. It is very smooth to the palate, and in thisießpectcompan s favourably with other samples offered for sale.
