IMPERIAL SCHIEDIM^CHNAPPS, Db. Hasball's Repokt. The Analytical and Sanitary Institution, 54 Holborn Viaduct, E C. London, Sth May, 1877. Report on a Sample of Imperial Schiedan Schnapps received from Mr H. J. Hart. We have subjected a sampl. of the above named article to a very careful chemica analysis and examination. The results of tbe analysis, which are se forth In a separate report show that thii spirit is of good strength, practically free from acidity, and that it contains but tracei of- solid matter in solution. It possesses s delicate and agreeable aroma, and a pure and mild taste. Mr Habt's Schiedam Schnapps is a very superior article of its class, is well purified, and is quite genuine. (Signed) i_RTmm H. Sir, — 1 have the honor [to report for your information that the sample of Imperial Schiedam : Schnapps forwarded by you to me has been submitted to a searching chemical analysis and critical examination, the result of which enables me to state that it is the Finest Sampie of Schnapps that as yet come under my notice. It has a pure fragrant odour, and ; is absolutely free from any trace of fu.il or othei ; injurious impurity, and haa evidently been distilled from superior rye grain, olways use. instead of malt in the production of the choicest' qualities of Schnapps. It is verj smooth to the palate, and in thi» respect compart s favourably with other samples offeree for sale. It may be advised as equallyj suitable for medical or economic purposes.
