To the Editor of ins 'Evening Mail. Sir,—A member of the School Committee in the Provincial Hall yesterday expressed regret that " a lady had been obliged to remove her son from a certain school because he had been beaten by the elder boys " It is true, but he richly deserved it, and the elder boy s mother told him to act for himself, and that upon such occasions he was not to trouble bis master nor yet his mother who was in a delicate state of health. It was his especial duty in theabsence of his father to defend his mother, sisters, and absent father from auch foul-mouthed abuse as that used by this amiable, ill used petit enfant and his accomplice, —l am &c, A Moihkr.
