IMPERIAL. SCEIBDAMJCeNAFFS. Dr. Hassall's Report. The Analytical and Sanitary Institution, 34, Holborn Viaduct, EC. London, 9th May, 1877. Report on a Sample of Imperial Schiedam Schnapps received from Mr H. J. Hart. We have subjected a sample of the abovenamed article to a very careful chemical analysis and examination. The results of the analysis, which are cc forth in a separate report show tbat this spirit is of good strength, practically free from acidity, and that it contains but traces of eolid matter in -solution. It possesses a delicate and agreeable aroma. and a pure and mild taste. Mr Habt's Schiedam Schnapps is a very superior article of its class, is well purified, and is quite genuine. (Signed) Arthur H. Schiedam Schnapps forwarded by you to me bas been submitted to a searching chemical analysis and critical examination, the result of which enables me to state that itisthe Finest Sample of Schnapps that as yet come under my notice. It haa a pure fragrant odour, and Is absolutely free from any trace of fu*-il or other injurious impurity, and haß evidently been; distilled from superior rye groin, olways used instead of malt in the production of the choicest qualities of Schnapps. It is very, smooth to the palate, and in this respect compart s favourably with other samples offered for sale. It may be advised aB equallyf suitable for medical or economic purposes.
