Mr John R. Mabin reports thafc at the sale on the 18th inst. at Miss Fosbery's tbere was a good attendance, but the biddies was not so brisk as expected. The following ia the list of prices obtained for some of the principal articles :— Walnut piano by Cocks and Co., £47 10s; piano by Board, £35; mahogany piano by Broadwood, £12; blue ren couch, £3 12s Gd; folding chair, £2 12s 6drosewood oval table, £2 17s 6d; brussell's carpet, £3; plated dishes, £2 12s 6d eachcoffee urn, £3 15s; dinner knives, ls 3d eachdessert knives iod; forks, is 7d; table spoons 2s each; desert spoons, ls 6d each The bedroom and other furniture sold at corresponding prices.— On the i9th, he sold hy order of tbe Trustee of the estate of John Hogg, the interest in lease of premises for £22 10s. Malt screen £7; malt crusher £4 ss; and a variety of other requisites for a malt house.
