A miner in this locality named Duggan had been complaining for years of a swelling on bis breast, which defied the medical -kill of I the district. Dr Llewellyn, residing fnßraidi wood, after vainly experimenting with dwers ' panaceas. &c, advised the patient to go to the Sydney Infirmary. After some time he did as he was counselled, but what was the result ? "Why, after remainiog in the hospital for about nine months under the treatment of the leading medicos, he was pronounced incurable.
