Schnapps received from Mr H. J. Hart. We- have subjected a sample of theabpvenamed: article to a very careful chemical analysis and examination. The results of the analysis, which are Be forth in a separate report show tbafc this spirit is of good Gtrength, practically free from acidity, and that it contains but traces | of solid matter in solution. It possesses a delicate and agreeable aroma, and a pure and mild taste. Mr Hart's Schiedam Scbnappß is a very soperJor ariicle of its class, is well purified, and is quite srenuine(Signed) Arthur H. Bir,— l have the honor '.to report for your information that the sample of Imperial Schiedam Schnapps forwarded by you to me has been submitted to a searching chemical analysis and critical examination, the result of which enables me to state that it is the Finest Sample of Schnapps that as yet come under my notice. It has a pure fragrant odour, and Is abso-] lutely free from any trace of fuf-il or other! injurious impurity, and has evidently been ; distilled from superior rye grain, olways used! instead of malt in the production of the: choicest qualities of Schnapps. It is very! smooth to the palate, and in this respect compan b favourably with other samples offered! for Bale.
