She proceeds to Wanganui on Monday at 2 p.m. The Wellington leaves at five o'clock to* night for Tara'caki and Manukau with the outward San Francisco mail. The Claud Hamilton left Greymouth last evening, will arrive here this evening, and sail for. Melbourne via Pieton, Wellington, and South at 7 a.m. to-morrow. : The Tararua leaves Melbourne on Monday afternoon, will arrive here on Tuesday morning, and sail for Melbourne via the West Coast by the same tide at 9 a.m. The Taiaroa has been laid on in place of the Ladybird. - She leaves Wellington on Monday at 2 p.m., will arrive here on Tues-, day morning, and sail for Pieton and Wellington by the same tide at 8.30. The Murray arrived in harbor thi3 mornIng at- seven o'clock. She left Wellington at 3.30 p.m yesterday, and experienced a dense fog at the French Pass, which was so thick that the steamer had to stop for an hour until it lifted. She reports leaving Nelson on the 28th inst., at 2 p.m., arriving at Westportat noon on the 29th;' left at midnight, and arrived at Hokitika at 1 p.m. on the 30th ; was detained there until 5 a.m. on the sth on account of a heavy sea and strong fresh; when she left, arriving at Greymouth at 8 a-nx'same tide; left again at 7 p.m., and arrived at Westport at 4 a.m. on the 6th; left again at 6 a.m. same tide, and arrived here as above. Experienced light ■winds accompanied with S.W. swell on the passage up. The Charles Edward left for Wellington at 4 o'clock this afternoon.
