IMPERIAL SCEIEDAMJGHNAPFS, Dr. Hassall's Report. The Analytical and Sanitary Institution, 54, Holborn Viaduct, E.C. London, 9th May, 1877. Report on a Sample of Imperial .Schiedam Schnapps received from Mr H. J. Hart. We have subjected a sample of the abovenamed article to a very careful chemical analysis and examination. The results of the analysis, Wbich are se forth in a separate report show tbat thia spirit is of good strength, practically free from acidity, and that it contains but traces of solid matter in solution. It possesses a delicate and agreeable" aroma, and a pure and mild taste. Mr Hart's Schiedam Bchnapps is a very soperior article of its class, is well purified, and is quite genuine. Bir,— l have the honor |to report for your information that tbe sample of Imperial Schiedam Schnapps forwarded by you to me has been submitted to a searching chemical analysis ahd critical examination, the result of which enables me to state tbat it is the! Finest Sample of Schnapps' that as yet come nnder my notice. It has a pure fragrant odour, and is absolutely free from any trace of fusil or other injurious impurity, ahd has evidently been distilled from superior rye grain, olways used instead of, malt in the production of the choicest qualities of Schnapps. It jb Very smooth to the palate, and in this respect cornpan c favourably with other samples offered for sale. It may be advised as equallyj suitable for medical or economic purposes.
