The Kennedy arrived at Wellington early this morning. She leaves there ou the return trip to-morrow evening. The Wallace arrived at Wanganui at 11-15 to-day. She leaves on the return trip toasarrow. Tlie Murray arrived at Greymouth to-day. She sails for Y/estport and Nelson to-mor-row. The Lady Barkly returned from Golden Bay last evening. The Pelorua leaves for Havelock this evening. The wh_iing barque Susan, of Newßedford, was carded i n a hurricane, and 2? out of the crew of 25 were drowned. Owing lo the unfavorable state of the weather the sailing of the Pelorus for Havelock has been postponed until to-morrow at 8 p.m. The Clyde finished discharging cargo yesterday, but has not yet ballasted on account of the wet weather. For the same reason the Edwin Fox and Mad Cap were unable to discharge cargo to-day. The Taupo leaves Wellington this evening, will arrive here to-morrow morning, and sail for Taranaki and Manukau by the same tide at noon. It is understood in Wanganui that the St. Kilda Company's two steamers will shortly he taken off the Southern running and laid up. We understand that the Union Company's time table for December will contain some material alterations in the Wellington's running. She is to be placed on the trade between Wellington, Nelson, Taranaki, and Mauukan, in conjuction with the Taranaki and Taiaroa. These three steamers will also call at Picton alternately. Of course nothing definite will be known until the time table ia issued. The Wellington arrived in harbor this morning at 10.15. She left Wellington at 2.15 p.m. yesterday, and arrived at Picton at 9 p.m.; sailed at 11 p.m., and arrived here as above, A fresh N.W. breeze was experienced to Tory Channel, thence fine weather to the French Pass, where heavy rain was met with. The Wellington returns to Picton and Wellington at 10 a.m. to-morrow. The Nelson friends of the captain and officers of the barque Chaudiere vail be glad to hear of her safe arrival at London on Nov. 22, a telegram to that effect having been received from tbe Merchant Shipping and Underwriters' Association. The voyage has been a speedy one, the time occupied being 93 days from port to port.
