[We kave subjected a sample of the abovenamed article to a very careful chemical analysis and examination. : ' ; The results of the analysis, which are ao fojrth- in a separate report show that this spirit is of good strength, practically free from acidity, and that.it contains, but traces of solid matter in solution. It possesses a delicate and agreeable aroma, and a pure and mild taste. I It has. a pure fragrant odour, and Is absolutely free from any trace of, lofil or other fnjariou? impurity, and' has evidently. Taeen, distilled from superior rye grain, olways used (nstead, of malt in the production off the. 6hbicest,qualities of.Schnappji. It is, very, smooth to the palate, and in this respect compans favourably -with other samples offered for sale.
