Report on a Sample of Imperial Schiedarr Schnapps received frpm Mr H. J. Hart. We have subjected a sample of the above named article to a very careful chemica analysis and examination. . The Jesuits of the enalyeia, which are ae forth in a separate report show that thii fepmt is of good strength, practically fre( from acidity, and that it contains but tracei of solid matter in solution. It possesses t delicate and agreeable aroma, and a pure anc mild taste. Mr Habt's Schiedam Scbnappi is a very superior articie of its class, is well punned, and is quite genuine. Sir,— l have the honor )to report for your information thast the sample of Imperial Schiedam Schnapps forwarded by you to me has been .submitted to a searching chemical analysis and critical examination, the result of which enables me to state that it is the Finest'Sample of Schnapps that as yet come under my notice. It has a pure fragrant odour /end Is absolutely free from any trace of fueil or other injurious impurity, and . has evidently been distilled from superior rye grain, olways used instead of malt in the production of the choicest qualities of Schnapps! It is very smooth to the palate, and in this respect come pan a favourably with other samples offered for sale. It may be advised as equally j suitable for medical or economic purposes.
