Eeporfc on a Sample of Imperial Schiedam Schnapps received from Mr H. J. Hakt. We kave subjected a sample of the abovenamed article to a very careful chemical analysis and examination. The results of the analysis, which are Be forth in -a separate report show that this spirit is of .good strength, practically free from acidity, and that it contains but traces of aolid matter in solution. It possesses a delicate and agreeable aroma, and a pure and mildtaate. Mr Habt's Schiedam Schnapps is a very superior article of its class, is well purified, and is quite genuine. (Signed) Arthur H. Sir,— l have the honor 'to report for your information that . tbe sample of Imperial Schiedam Schnapps forwarded by you to me has been submitted to a searching chemical analysis and critical examination, the result of which enables me to state that it is tbe Finest Sample of Schnapps that as yet come under my notice. It has a pure fragrant odour, and Is absolutely free from any trace of futil or other injurious impurity, and has evidently been distilled from superior rye grxin, olways used instead of malt in the productioa of the choicest qualities of Schnapps. It is very smooth to the palate, and in this respect compari s favourably with other samples offered tor sale.
