The cutter Goldseeker is advertised for sale. The Wallace left Blenheim for "Wellington this morning. The Charles Edward will sail for Wanganui at 3 p.m. to-morrow. The sailing of the Murray for the Coast is postponed unti! to-morrow on account of the south-west gale. The Kennedy reports a south-west gale •«nd heavy se a at Westport, and uo chance of leaving to-day. Tbe Otaki bar having become unworkable the Lyttelton's contract to remove the City of Auckland's cargo will he cancelled, and she will soon resume her old trade. The Richard and Mary will finish discharging this afternoon. She loads with timber for Oamaru. The Lady Barkly has been detained by the Acting Chief Postmaster, Mr Creswell, to take the San Francisco mail across to Goldeu Bay. She leaves this evening at 8 o'clock. The Taupo leaves Weliington this evening will arrive bere to-morrow morning, and eaii for Taranaki and Manukau at five o'clock fn the afternoon. The Wellington leaves Wellington nt twelve o'clock to-night, will arrive here tomorrow afternoon, and sail for Pieton and Wellington at 5 p.m. on Saturday. The Ringarooma leaves Wellington tomorrow evening, will arrive here on Satnrday morning, and return to Melbourne via Wellington and Soutb the same day. The Taiaroa witb theinwaid San Francisco mail arrived at tbe outer anchorage this morning, and came into harbor at 2.30 p.m. She left Onehunga at 4 a.m yesterday, and reached New Plymouth in the afternoon, landed mails and sailed for Nelson shortly afterwards, arriving here as above. The Taiaroa sailed for Wellington and South by the same tide at 3.30 p.m. The schooner Nelson arrived at Waitara from Timara on Tuesday, after a rough passage. She was out in the terrific N.W. gale on Friday last, which Captain Nelson describes ag the worst he has experienced on the New Zealand coast. Nevertheless the little vessel behaved admirably, and came out unscathed.
