Capt Edwin reports: — " Watch barometer; bad weather approaching; any direction from north and west and south west. Glass will show further fall. Expect heavy gale within 12 hours " The Kennedy left for "West Coast ports afc 3 p.m. yesterday. The Awaroa leaves for Wanganui at noon to-morrow. The Charles Edward leaves Greymouth to-morrow morning, and Westport to-morrow evening. The Murray leaves Wellington to-night at 10 o'clock. She proceeds to the Coast tomorrow or Wednesday. The Wallace arrived from Blenheim last night. She returns there to-morrow evening with immigrants ex Edwin Fox. The Pelorus arrivtd from Havelock on Saturday evening. She returns to the same port tlii? evening at seven o'clock. The I) irt arrived from Para Para yesterday afternoon with, a load of hematite ore for Mr L iiiisson. The Wallabi, after taking in a supply of water and coal, resumed her voyage yesterday afternoon. The Richard and Mary arrived from Oamaru yesterday afternoon. She brings a cargo of fiour for Mr 11 Levien. The Arawata made an eight hours' passage to Wellington, having arrived there at 7.30 p m. on Saturday. The City of New York, with the San Francisco mail, will be due at Auckland tomorrow. The southern portion of the mail will be brought down by the Taiaroa, which sailed for ihe North yesterday. The Wellington leaves Wellington this afternoon, will arrive here to-morrow morning, and sail on the return trip by the same tide at noon. The Taiaroa arrived in harbor at 10 p.m. on Saturday. Yesterday she took in some piece? of machinery for Taranaki, which have been carried to and fro several times, and sailed for Northern ports shortly before I p.m. She arrived at Taranaki at 3 a.m. today.
