To the Editor or tiie 'Evening Mait..' Sut— ln your reprint of my speech in the House upon the Railway Bill there is an error of the press which I shall be glad if you will correct. Towards the end of my speech I said, "lam sure the House will agree with me that it is not a judicious or politic thing to leave any portion of the population under a feeling of a very heavy aud undeserved grievance." The |word "politic" is printed " polite," which gives the sentence rather an absurd character. I am, &c, Oswald Curtis. Nelsou, November 7.
