The'Alhambra arrived on the West Coast this afternoon The Lady Barkly sailed for Golden Bay Jast evening-. The Richard and Mary leaves Oamaru for .Nelson to-day with a load of fiour for Mr It. Levien. Taking advantage of the fine S.W. wind last evening the Camilla hove her anchor apeak and set sail for Hobarton. The Arthur Wakefield left Lyttelton on Friday last with a cargo of breadstuffs for Nelson. The Charles Edward left Greymouth this morning, and will leave Westport for Nelson this evening. She will return to the Coast on Saturday night. The Wallace crossed the Wairau bar this morning, and arrived this afternoon. She will sail for Wanganui at 2 p m. to morrow, carrying passengers to the races. The Orient steamer Aconcagua left Plymouth for Adelaide, Melbourne, and Svduey on the 24th October, with 424 passengers and 1800 tons cargo. The Ladybird leaves Wellington this afternoon, will arrive here to-morrow morning, and sail for Taranaki and Manukau with the outward San Francisco mail at 4 p.m. The Wellington leaves Wellington to-day, will arrive here to-morrow, and sail for Picton and Wellington at S a.m on Saturday. The Tararua leaves Wellington to-morrow afternoon, will arrive here on Saturday morning, and sail for West Coast ports and Melbourne by the same time at 8.30 a.m. The Awaroa arrived from Wanganui last eyening. She was towed across the bar there on Tuesday evening, and made the passage across in 24 hours. She brings n cargo of sheep. The Awaroa returns to "Wangauui at 8 a.m. to-morrow. The Taiaroa arrived in harbor at 4 o'clock this morning. She left Onehunga at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, and arrived off New Plymouth early yesterday morning; landed passengers and cargo and sailed for Nelson at 11.30 a.m arriving here as above. She sailed for Picton, Wellington, and South by the same tide at 7 o'clock. Captain T. Holmes, late of the p.s. Ilauraki, was a passenger this morning by the Taiaroa en route for Wellington, where he •will remain until his new steamer is readv, which will be about the latter end of this' month. The Kennedy returned to port to-day at noon. She reports leaving Nelson on Tuesday, the 29th October for West Coast via Motueka, arriving at Westport at 10 a.m. on Wednesday; left for Hokitika at midnight, arriving there at 11.30 a.m. on Thursday; was detained there on account of a fresh in the river until Saturday, when she sailed for Greymouth, arriving same tide; sailed for Westport on Monday, the 4th, at 5 p.m., and came to an anchor off the Buller bar at 1 a.m. on Tuesday, at 7 a.m. got under weigh and in trying to cross the bar in a dense fog went ashore on the north spit and remained there until the evening's tide, when she came off and steamed up to the wharf; intended sailing by next morning's tide, but ■was postponed until the evening to take the Westport portion of the San Francisco mail, left at 5.30 p m. for Nelson, arriving here as above. The Kennedy leaves for Wellington at 6 p.m.
