Captain R. A Edwin reports: — "Watch "barometer ; bad weather approaching any direction between north and west and south west. Glass further fall, wind likely backing. _ The Pelorus leaves for Havelock at six o'clock to-night. The Wallace leaves Wellington for Blenheim this evening. The Murray arrived from Wellington this afternoon, and will leave for Waitara and Opunake at 9 a.m. to morrow. The Charles Edward loaves Greymonth tomorrow morning for Westport and Nelson. She reports it raiuing heavily at the former place. The Kennedy ran aground on the north spit at Westport this morning when entering the river in a dense fog. It is expected that she will float off at high water to-night. The Camilla was towed to the outer anchorage by the Lady Barkly this morning. She will sail for Hobnrton this evening. The TJno shipped a large steam engine yesterday aftcrnooon. She will fill up with coni and any other cargo that offers, and sail for Patea at the end of the week. The Wellington arrived from Picton and Wellington at two o'clock this afternoon, having left the former port at 3 a.m. to-day After landing and shipping cargo she returned to the above ports by the same tide. The Taiaroa arrived at Onehunga at 7 a.m. to-day, and leaves there on the downward trip this afternoon. She will arrive here on Thursday morning, and sail for Picton, Wellington, and South by the same tide at 7 a.m. She proceeds to Picton for the purpose of conveying Mr Redwood's racehorses to Lyttslton.
