Report on a Sample of Imperial .Schiedam Schnapps received from Mr H. J. Hart. We have subjected a sample of the abovenamed article to a very, careful chemical analysis and examination. The results of the analysis, which are Be forth in a separate report show that this spirit is of good strength, practically free from acidity, and that it contains but traces of solid matter in solution. It possesses a delicate and agreeable aroma, and a pure and mild taste. Mr Hart's Schiedam bchnapps is a very superior arlicle of its class, is well purified, and ib quite genuine. (Signed) Arthur H. It has a pure fragrant odour, nnd Is absolutely free from any trace of f unl or other injurious impurity, and has evidently been distilled from superior rye gr 'in, olways used instead of malt in the production of the choicest qualities of Schnapps. It is very smooth to the palate, and in this respect com* part s favourably with other simples offered lor sale. It may be advised as equally! suitable for medical or economic purposes.
