THIS DAY. [Before H. E. Cortis and C. de V. TeschesiAKEß, Esqs., J.J.P.] Sclanders v. D. Burn.— Action to recover £4 17s for goods supplied. Defendant did not appear. Judgment [for plaintiff for amount claimed and costs. Polglase v. Jellicoe.— Claim for £3 2s 6d for trees supplied. Defendant did not appear. Judgment for plaintiff with costs. CoXTRinUTORS TO THE CORPORATION FUNDS. Williim Stagg for leaving his vehicle unattended in the street was fined 5s and costs. John Spencer for allowing his cab to staud on the Government Wharf, that not beiug a public stand, was fined 5s and costs. The following 'charged with cattle trespass, were fined in the usual amount and costs: Alexander Walker, three cows; W. Taylor, one horse; Samuel Bolton, one horse; James Mills, ' % one horse, Henry Campbell liaikes, one horse; John Astle, one horse; Henry Barnett, one horse. John Brown was charged with allowing three cows to stray in Ilusaell-street. Defendant admitted that the cattle were in the place called Russell-street, but not that Russell-street was a street, being nothing more than a mass of mud. Fined 15s and costs.
