disoussioa at the dinner hour adjournment, n. r, Tuesday, lhe Council last night resumed the conaUt w tion of the Electoral Bi H in Committee. Mr Waterhouse carried an amendment for closing public houses on election days on a division by 15 to 13 but after the adjournment, Mr Nurse moved the recommittal of BUI for the purpose of reconsidering this amendment which, after discussion, was struck out on a division by 15 to 14. The Public Revenues Bill was further considered in Committee and the Council adjourned afc 12.50 a.m.
