Report on a Sample of Imperial .Schiedam Schnapps received from Mr H. J. Hart. We have subjected a simple of the abovenamed article to a very careful chemical analysis and examination. The results of the analysis, which are ae forth in a separate report show tbat this spirit is of good strength, practically free from acidity, and that it contains but traces of solid matter in solution. It possesses a delicate and agreeable aroma, and a pure and mild taate. Mr Hart's Schiedam Schnapps is a very superior ariicle of its class, is well purified, and is quite genuine. (Signed) Arthur H. Sir,—! have the honor |to report for your ' information that tbe sample of Imperial Schiedam Schnapps forwarded by you to me has been submitted to a searching chemical analysis and critical examination, the result of wbich enables me to state that it is the Finest Sample of Schnapps that as yet come under my notice. It has a pure fragrant odour, Bnd is absolutely free from any trace of fu-il or other injurious impurity, and bas evidently been distilled from supeiior rye gr-dn, olways used instead of malt in the production of the choicest qualities of Schnapps. It is very smooth to th? palate, and in thia respect corapari s favourably with other simples offered tor sale. It may be advised as equally^ suitable for medical or economic purposes.
