She will remain here until Saturday, when she will return to Melbourne via Wellington and South with the outward Suez mail at noon. The Lyttelton, which for some time past has been undergoing repairs opposite the Anchor Foundry, is now ready for sea. She has been thoroughly overhauled, and all plates showing the least defect were removed and replaced by new ones. Added to this she has been scraped and painted all over, special attention being paid to the cabin. She will take up the running in her old trade on Saturday.
