It is refreshing to dnd Ladies and Gentlemen who, in gratitude for the relief hioupht them, either go io the trouble and expense of publis-hing the /act, or wri.ing to thtir friends, teilirg them about ihe SCOTTISH HIGHLAND OIL, or. in the spirit of true gratitude, visit the afflicted, and show them how tbeir agonies msy be appeased and their sufferings alleviated. Already a long list of nomes have been cnrolhd, and it is" my desire that all who have been cured shoull tend me iheir address, not for publication, but as a satisfaction to my own mind, and as a just tribute to the Oils. I think there cannot be any fear nf being accused of exaggeration after leading tha testimonials published, acd these row appearing, to ssy that in the experience of human knowledge there never has heen sn agent offered to the public winch has so easily, piin'esaly, and pleasantly cured eo mauy people regarded by our noble Faculty of medicine as incurable ; aud it cannot now he siid that professional men have been distance I by ordinnry mcrtala. I glory in the fact that I belong, by birth snd education to the professional class. I regret, however, tbat the commercial conditions of things renders it necessary that I should adopt a system of action at variance with professional etiquette for the sale of my goods. It is, however, a great satisfaction to me thit "the grandest curea which could be accomplished anywhere have teen done in the very city and country where the discovery whs made, and I trust that as people get accustomed to the use of the Scottish Oil, we shall see hundreds and thousands of suffering humanity rejoice again in the vig< r and strength of regenerate! constitutions. Here follows lhe most extraordinary list of cures ever presented to the inhabitants ot these colonies: — Fifteen' Yfars a Mahttb to Headachb. July 11, 1877. Dear Sir, — It is impossible for any one <o express his heartfelt gratitude for the relief I now erjoy from a terrible affliction, under which I existed for years I can hardly now think of it but with horror. It must be a great satisfaction for you to know that your Oils can so quickly and painlessly cure. I shall certamly feel bound to tell the good news to all my friends. — — James Goodwin, .££o Spent, but oot No Eeliep. Testimonial. — Another testimonial respecting Pottie's Highland Oil has been received by the Agent, Mr C. L. Tweedie. It is as follows:— Sir, for many years I have "suffered from rheumatism in the hack; and some time ago it coßt me over £80 to go to Bydney and have medicHl advice, without, however, receiving any relief. I determined to try a bottle of Highland Oil, for which you are agent, and have much pleasure in stating that after a few applications I was entirely relieved from all pain, and can safely recommend it to others suffering from a similar complaint to mine. —John Mdbie, Bombah. Lumbago for 26 Yeahs. Rylstone, October 7, 1876. To Messrs. White & MTul'och, Rylstone. Gentlemen,— l have much pleasure in informing you, as Agents for Pottie's Scottish Highland t >il, that the Baid medicine has been the means of curing me from lumbsgo, from which I have suffered for the past 26 yeare, befog at times scarcely able to crawl, owing to the severity of the complaint. I make litis statement feeling convinced that the Oils (S.H.) will cure any one suffering in a like maimer. I request that you will give publicity to the above, and remain yours very truly, — John McNeil Beaton. 102. Liverpool-street, Sydney. Dear Sir,— l was laid up for many long moDthß in bed. and had tried all the doctors could do for me, but got only wone. At list a man c«lled with a little of Scottish Oil. I was then in bed, suffering terrible agony, with my legs bent under me. I saw no hope for lie; but the first bottle of your Oil brought relief, and I could crawl about. I stuck to the fomentation, Oils, and hot iron, and in two months got tbe use of my limbs. I cb n never expect to be perfect'y well, for I am an old man, but I owe ali to the Scottish [ Highland Oi'.— Abch M'lldciwny. Newtown. Twenty-three yeare bad with a tumour on my nefck, and tried no end of prescriptions, until I saw that an operation was my only chance. Fortunately I heard about the Scottish Oil, and by rubbing regularly, the tumour melted away without auy kind of pain. — H. Chase, Newtown. Fkom Sydney Fkeeman's Journal. MIRACULOUS. — A most miraculous cure has come under my notice iu Araluen. A miner in this locality named Duggan had been complaining for yenrs of a swelling on his breast, which defied the medical skill of the district. Dr Lit wellyn, residing in Braidwood, ai'ter vainly experimenting with divers panaceas. &c, advised the patient to po to the Sydney Infirmary After some time he did as he was counselled, but what was the result ? Why, after remaining in the hospital for about nine months unr'er the treatment of the leading medicos, he was pronounced incurable. He returned to Araluen wone in fact than when he went to Sidney, owing, I suppoee to the vast quantities of medicine he had taken, coupled with the fatigue of such a long overland journey. Some months ago Mr Curry (Dr Llewellyn's servant) suggested to Mr Dupgan to rub the swelling with "Pottie's Highland Oil.' He did as was suggested, and wonderful was the result. The swelling came to a head in a short time, and hurst, discbarging a quantity o( matter. In one of these d scharges a bone came out, it being the sole cause of the swelling, as can be testified by the man, whoße health has been perfectly restored. He is now able to work as usual in the claim. Now, the mu lor your Sydney M.D.'a is, how came the bone there? My principal reason for writing this is to inform l hose gentlemen who attended Mr Duggan at the Infirmary of the mysterious result.— Araluen Correspondent. Manufactured by J.
