Report on a Sample of Irrpsrial Schiedam Schnapps received fr>m Mr H.J. Hart. We have subjected a simple of the abovenamed nrtielo to a very caieful chemical analysis and examination. The results of the unalysis, -which are se forth in a separate nport show that this spirit is of good strength, practically free from aridity, end th-it it contains but traces of solid mntter in solution. It possesses a delicate and nßrc-eabls aroma, and ix pure and mild tnste. Mr Hart's Schiedam Schnapps is a vtr> si'pc-r.or article of its cluß3,isv?cU purified, and is quite ptnuino. Fir, — I have the honor 'to report for your information that the sample of Imperial Schiedam Schnapps forwar'id by you tn me has been submitted to a staiching chemical j analysis and critical examination, the result of which enables me to state that it is the Finest Sample of Schnapps that as yet come under my notice. It hns a pure fragrant odour, and Us absolutely free from any trace of fir il or other injurious impurity, and has evidently been distilled from superior rye gr ;in, olways used instead of malt in the production of the choicest qualities of Schnapps. It is very smooth to the palate, and in this respect compar> s favourably with other samples offered lor sale.
