RESIDENT MAGISTRATE'S COURT

[Before L. Bkoad, Esq., R.M.] Edward Diqgins and Edward Arnold were charged by Captain Ruth of the Helen Denny with wilful disobedience of lawful commands, and sentenced to fourteen days' imprisonment with hard labor. Arnold was further charged by the same complainant with using indecent language, for which he was sentenced to a month's imprisonment.

Fosbery v. Wither,

In this case Miss Fosbery sued Mr Wither for £52 ss, in lieu of a quarter's notice of removal of defendant's daughters from plaintiff's school. Mr Pitt appeared for the plaintiff, and Mr Fell for the defendant Judgment for plaintiff for £33 12s, and £5* costs.
