Report on a Sample of Imperial Schiedam Schnapps received frcin Mr 11. J. Hakt. We kave subjected a sample of the abovelamed article to a very careful chemical iDalysis and examination. The results of the analysis, which are se forth in a separate report show that this spirit is of good strength, practically free Erom acidity, and that it contains but traces )f solid matter in solution. It possesses a ielicate and flgreeable aroma, and a pure and mild tabte. Mr Hart's Schiedam Schnapps is a very superior ariicle of its class, is well purified, and is quite genuine. (Signed) H. Sir, — I have the honor !to report for your information that the sample of Imperial Schiedam Schnapps forwar«ltd by you to me has been submitted to a searching chemical analysis and critical examination, the result of which enables me to state that it is the Finest Sample of Schnapps that as yet come under my notice. It has a pure fragrant odour, and is absolutely free from any trace of fu^il or other injuriou* impurity, and has evidently been distilled from superior rye gr«in, olways used instead of malt in the productioa of the choicest qualities of Schnapps. It is very smooth to the palate, and in this respect compan s favourably with other samples offered lor sale.
