IMPERIAL SCHIEDAMJOTAPPS, Dr. Hassall's Report. The Analytical and Sanitary Institution, 54, Holborn Viaduct, EC. London, 9th May, 1877. Report on a Sample o! Imperial Scbiedam Schnapps received from Mr H. J. Hart. We kave subjected a simple of the abovenamed article to a very cuieful chemical analysis and examination. The results of the analysis, which are se forth in a separate report show that this spirit is of good strength, practically f ree from acidity, and that it contninß but traces of solid matter in folution. It possesses a delicate and nßreeible aroma, and a pure and mild taste. Mr Hakt's Schiedam bchnapps is a very superior article of its class, is well purified, and is quite imiuine. (Signed) Arthur H. Sir,— l have the honor !to report for your information that the sample of Imperial Schieiam Schnapps forwarded hy you to me has besn submitted to a searching chemical analysis and critical exaannp.tbn, the result of which enables me to stale that it is the Finest Sample of Schnapps that as yet come under my notice. It has a pure fragrant odour, and ia absolutely free from any trace of fu>-il or other injuriou* impurity, and has evidently heen distilled from superior rye gr-iin, olways used instead of malt in the production of the choicest qualities of Schnapps. It is very smooth to the palate, and in this respect com - par« s favourably with other samples offered lor sale.
