We have subjected a simple of the abovenamed article to a very careful chemical analysis and examination. The results of the Bnalysis, which are ac forth in a separate report show that this spirit is of good strength, practically free from acidity, and that it contains but traces of solid matter in solution. It has a pure fragrant odour, and Is absolutely free from any trace of fu^il or other injurious impurity, and has evidently been distilled from superior rye gr«in, olways used instead of malt in the production of the choicest qualities of Scbnappa. It ia very smooth to the palate, and in this respect compart s favourably with other samples offered lor sale.
