THE PARLIAMENT ON THE MOVE

The first through train to Dunedin left this morning at 6 o'clock. A very large party was on board, including the Governor Members of both Houses of the Legislature, Mayors and City Councillors of Christchurch and Dunedin, and representatives of many other public bodies, and the Dunedin Railway Brass Band, which was also of the party awoke the echoes of the streets before six o'clock. The train was piloted by Mr W. Conyers, the Commissioner of Railways.
