Sydney, Friday. _ The Colonial Secretary informed a deputation that the Government are indisposed to take action to restrict Chinese immigration at present. The Yeadon Eighteen beat the Australians by 24 runs. Melbourne, Friday. The presentation of .£6OO to young Pearce of the Loch Ard by the Mayor took place to-day. Pearce leaves for England on Monday. Saturday. Ihe Albion arrived last night. The Ringarooma, which left here on Wednesday, left Hobarton for the Bluff yesterday.
